SMK NEGERI 3 Banjarmasin memiliki 9 kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Pastinya kegiatan tersebut untuk menampung dan menyalurkan hobby dan bakat siswa serta tempat kongko-kongko untuk berbagi pengalaman dan pengetahuan bagi mereka-mereka yang memiliki bakat dan hobby yang sejenis. Masing-masing Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler di bimbing dan dibina oleh instruktur-instruktur yang berpengalaman.

Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler meliputi Pramuka, PMR, Bola Volly, Bola Basket, Futsal, Theater, Paskibra, Mading, Kesenian.
